Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScreenshotPop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

ScreenshotPop provides tools to transform screenshots and screen recordings into animated content. For free accounts, images are sent to our servers for rendering and discarded after processing. Pro accounts include cloud project save/load: project state and the screenshots they reference are stored on our servers so you can return to them later or work across devices. Videos are stored briefly on our servers (up to 6 hours) to support editing, then automatically deleted. Optional features may send your media to third parties: Boost Render uses AWS Lambda for faster cloud rendering, and AI Scene Suggestions sends your screenshot to Anthropic for layout composition. All of the above are described in our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you create using our service
• You must have the rights to any images or videos you upload and process
• You agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• You must not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images and videos you upload and the content you create. ScreenshotPop claims no ownership over your content. The ScreenshotPop service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Cloud Projects (Pro)

Pro accounts can save projects to our servers so they can be reopened later or accessed from other devices. Each Pro account is allotted a maximum number of concurrent projects (currently 10); when the limit is reached, you must delete an existing project before saving a new one. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to cloud projects, and you remain responsible for keeping local copies of any work you consider critical. Projects you delete from the editor are kept in a recoverable state briefly and then permanently removed; deleting your account permanently removes all projects.

Free and Paid Tiers

ScreenshotPop offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro tier with full access. The free tier includes 1 lifetime export. Pro access is a one-time payment that grants lifetime access to all current and future features, with no export limits, plus 5 Boost credits included at purchase.

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and usage limits with reasonable notice to users.

Boost Credits

Boost credits power two optional cloud features: Boost Render, which offloads exports to AWS Lambda for faster rendering on long clips, and AI Scene Suggestions, which sends your screenshot to Anthropic's Claude API to compose a complete scene around it. Each use of either feature consumes one Boost credit. Pro accounts receive 5 Boost credits at purchase; additional credits can be bought in packs (5, 10, or 20 credits).

Credits are tied to your account and do not expire. If a Boost render or AI scene suggestion fails for any reason, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.

Credit packs are non-refundable once any credit in the pack has been consumed. Unused packs can be refunded on request within 30 days of purchase.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all ScreenshotPop Pro purchases. If you're not satisfied with the product for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

Boost credit packs follow the policy in the Boost Credits section above: fully refundable if none of the pack's credits have been used, otherwise non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

ScreenshotPop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
